Technical characteristics:
- Sterile synthetic absorbable surgical suture.
- Braided suture, made on base of polyglycolic acid (PGA).
- Coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate.
- Dyed in violet color .
- Sterilized by ethylene oxide gas.
Particular qualities of Synthil “IGAR”:
- Causes minimal trauma when passing through human tissues .
- The knots are firm and strong.
- Biologically inert material.
- Non-antigenic.
- Causes minimal tissue reaction.
- Tensile strength retention after two weeks is 65%. Absorption of PGA suture is essentially complete between 60 to 90 days. .

Attention! Not indicated for cardiovascular and neurological tissue approximation. Synthil is contraindicated when extended approximation of tissue under stress is required.
